eZPrint Web2Print,/Print Management Software completes 1st year of Operation at MacroMedia Digital’s Octaprint Division.

ZESTA Technology Group, a company promoted by Mr. Atul Saran, ex-CEO, EFI India and Mr. Narayan Mahadevan, ex-Engineering Director, EFI India has matured as a provider of high end Print Management Solutions.

Today, ZESTA’s flagship product eZPrint has completed 1 year of deployment at Octaprint Digital running the digital business for Octaprint. Octaprint is the digital printing division of MacroMedia with 2 Indigo Machines 5000 series based at Hyderabad and Chennai with a marquee list of Corporate customers in Telecom and other Industry verticals.

Mr. Naresh Dasari, Managing Director of Macro Media Digital had this to say “ We purchased eZPrint after trying out different products from other international companies. We could not find a product other than eZPrint which offered everything under one hood - Web2Print, VDP, Production Workflow management, Invoicing and Accounts Receivables, Image Personalisation and had the flexibility required for our business and particularly India’s unique requirements incorporated within.” Naresh added “ The big plus with ZESTA was that they own the technology and could handle our customisation requirements very quickly. It really helped us to fine tune the system to our requirements. ZESTA has been there to handhold our team to ensure the system is used. The system is constantly evolving and with ZESTA’s support we are working to establish a Print MIS. With customisation of eZPrint, we are now able to take orders from overseas customers with online payment.

Integrated System – from Customer Order (Web2Print, VDP, Image Personalisation) to pricing(Estimation) to managing the Production Workflow(Job Ticket etc.) to billing (DC, Performa invoice, cash/credit invoices) to Controlling of accounts receivable and Reports(MIS).
In-Store ordering which allows orders to be taken into the system coming from multiple channels( email, ftp, cd, walk-in etc) on behalf of the customer.
Collection point ordering to create a reach to the customer without adding new equipment or facility.
Tax Reporting on daily basis – VAT reports, Service –Tax reports
Touch-screen based production dashboards which provide exact status of an order at any point of time, highlights the orders that will be delayed, identifies the bottlenecks in the production process.

The biggest worry for print service providers in India is the ability to configure, run and manage such systems with the available quality of manpower.
