Proofstream V7 now on release

Proofstream Version 7.0, Featuring GMG Interface and New Packaging Capability

Nustream Europe, the company based in Derby, UK, managing the distribution and development of European and Asian markets for the Proofstream soft-proofing product, has announced the release of Version 7.0 of the software.

Version 7.0 of Proofstream, the powerful, easy to use on-line collaborative soft approval system that enables users to control every aspect of their proofing and workflow from one central location, features a new and improved correction interface, a separations viewing feature, an ability to view all versions of a page, and an enhanced notes and outline corrections feature.

The latest version of the software sports a new integration facility to link directly with the GMG RIP Server and Colour Server products. The interface automatically takes settings from GMG for fast and efficient set-up.

Proofstream is now a viable proofing solution for the packaging industry. The new user interface with separations manager, the ability to manage single “pages”, and the densitometer interface have all been included with the world of packaging in mind. The inclusion of a workflow connection to Esko / Barco systems makes interfacing the product to one of the leading systems in the packaging world simple and straightforward.

Proofstream interfaces directly to Agfa Apogee, Barco/Esko Graphics products, CGS Normaliser, Fuji XMF, GMG RIP and Color Server, and Screen Trueflow systems. Bespoke connections can also be created to work with other pre-press systems.
